17th Annual Derek Teele Memorial Golf Tournament

Details:      
$175.00 per player includes your round of golf, dinner, goody bag and contests. We will also have the awards banquet immediately following golf at the country club
Contests:
Four closest to the pins, long drive (men & women), putting contest & best dressed foursome

Please join us for a great day of fun as we celebrate the life of Derek Teele. All tournament proceeds will be used to support various people and organizations within the local community. Your support will allow us to help others in Derek’s name while keeping his loving spirit alive!

Best Dressed Foursome: We will not have a special theme this year, but please join in the competition to be named the best dressed foursome by wearing matching golf outfits. Reminder: All golfers must still wear proper golf attire.

This past year, the Derek Teele Foundation has….

  • Provided school backpacks & supplies to elementary schools in Pinellas County
  • Donated to the Kimberly Home Pregnancy Resource Center
  • Donated to Helping Hands Homeless Ministry
  • Provided Thanksgiving meals to help feed many needy families.
  • Provided Christmas gifts to several foster children.
  • Provided two “Derek G. Teele Memorial Scholarships”
  • Sponsored the City of Dunedin Teen Leader Program
  • Donated to Wheelchairs 4 Kids
  • Donated to the House of Mercy & Encouragement
  • Supported the Humane Society of Pinellas County
  • Supported Dunedin Cares & Fostering Hope Florida

We miss Derek every day, but we know his spirit lives on through all of us.  By working together to support these and other causes, we can create something positive, despite our loss.  We can definitely see Derek smiling!
